Line the upper lid with kohl pencil, starting from the outer corner and smudging it into the lash line with a brush. Then use the pencil to lightly line your lower lid. Apply neutral eye shadow (try gray, beige, or light pink) to the entire lid up to the brow bone. Then use a flat brush to apply a medium shade of eye shadow to the lower lid, blending it up to the crease. With a small smudge brush, brush a line of the dark eye shadow across the lash line, on top of the eyeliner, and blend it up using light circular motions, smudging the line between the dark and medium eye shadows. Curl your lashes and finish with a coat of mascara.
